An Amazing Family Retreat
by Cristy C.We found an amazing spot for our special birthday weekend! It was an incredible and spacious home with everything we needed. From the moment we walked in, we felt the home\'s inviting warmth and charm. For starters, the kitchen became the heart of our gatherings. It was fully-equipped for whipping up breakfast pancakes or prepping an evening feast. With the upstairs open floor plan, we had plenty of space for all of us to hang out, chat, watch movies on the ultra-comfy couch, have some laughs, and enjoy family game night. It truly was the entertainment center of the house. The kids struck gold downstairs with four amazing bedrooms all to themselves! Coupled with another comfy couch and tv in the family room, the downstairs level became their personal basecamp for the whole stay. The unique second-level deck was perfect for grilling out, evening chats by the fire pit, and lounging around. It effortlessly extended our entertaining space. It’s not just a deck, it\'s an outdoor living room! Our gracious hosts granted us full access to the private beach, which was within walking distance. We also enjoyed lazy strolls on the scenic Lake Geneva walking trail, bars and restaurants, and a tennis court right across the street. For those wanting the hustle and bustle of the Lake Geneva scene, it is just a hop, skip, and a jump away. Finally...the beds! After long days of Fontana fun, the heavenly beds ensured that we woke up refreshed and ready to dive into another day. The owners take considerable care to make guests feel welcome. Be sure to read the welcome binder to make the most of your stay. Their attention to detail is everywhere. If you\'re after the perfect family-friendly retreat in Fontana, this place checks every box. From spacious entertaining, to beautiful views, to an unbeatable location...check, check, and check.
